VPN is a service that allows you to access the web safely and privately by routing your connection through a server and hiding your online actions. In other words, VPN is a service that helps people to browse on the internet in a secure way.
VPN allows you to create a secure connection to navigate to another network without being worried about your privacy. The acronym VPN stands for:

How does it work?
In very simple terms, a VPN connects your PC, smartphone, or tablet to another computer (called a server) somewhere on the internet, and allows you to browse the internet using that computer’s internet connection. So if that server is in a different country, it will appear as if you are coming from that country, and you can potentially access things that you couldn’t normally.

- It works with a computer, but it also works with any android or iOS device (Be careful with free VPN apps since many of them might contain malware which can damage your device).
- It can be used with different apps like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. (It uses location filters so that you can watch videos that are restricted for your country).
- There are free and paid VPN services.
Disadvantages
- It may slow down your network’s speed.
- There might be legal and policy limitations affecting what can be done with that technology.
- It might be 70% secure for your device.
- Using VPN might be illegal in some countries.
